In March 2009
my
Mother-in-law,
Mary passed
away. She was
one of my
biggest
supporters. She
was 82 years
old but boy was
she young at
heart. She use
to organize
dances for the
senior citizens
in the Bronx.
Mary gave me
my first gig at
one of her
dances.

I'll appreciate all of her encouragement and the opportunities she gave me
to perform.
In November of 2009 our family planned a dance in her memory called
Marys' Dance at The Turner Club for her friends and family. It was an
afternoon of music, dancing and memories. Any proceeds from the dance
were donated to The Kingston Hospital Foundation in her name.
She will be missed.
